SONIA Gandhi is 72 years old and she has been very active till now. Insiders reveal that her health condition is worrisome not only for the party but for Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi also. Leaders who are meeting Sonia Gandhi on a regular basis disclose that she may not be physically able to travel and canvass in the 2019 parliamentary elections. On the condition of anonymity, one senior leader told gfiles that Sonia Gandhi may not even contest the Rae Bareli seat. So, who will contest this the politically hot seat. Insiders say the family may decide to put up Priyanka Gandhi from Rae Bareli. Though Sanjay Singh, an MP from Assam and native of Amethi, also desires to contest as his term will end in April 2020. Another dark horse is Robert Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi. Vadra is learnt to have political ambitions and wants to become an MP. All be will be clear in a few months.
