WHENEVER the King is changed, it’s difficult to enter the palace for some time, especially when the King has been out of the capital for a long time. There are two ways to enter: either you know the King’s friends or you know the officials of the palace. If one doesn’t know either, the task becomes difficult, especially tapping the officials of the palace. However, you need not worry. Nishikant Dubey is a politician in Delhi who is not only active in the ruling party but also has the right connections with palace officials. An alumnus of Delhi University, Dubey entered Parliament in 2009 from Godda district in Jharkhand. Dubey has very close connections with a Mumbai business conglomerate (not Reliance). While managing the facilitation work of the business house during this period, he developed a close relationship with an official who was then the Secretary of a sensitive Ministry. The said official is now among the top functionaries in the Prime Minister’s Office. Dubey never hid his relationship, especially from bureaucrats. The business houses that don’t have any inroads to the Prime Minister’s Office are now reportedly contacting Dubey. He is happy with his new-found status among the powerful.
