BABA Ramdev is a puzzled man after Narendra Modi took over as Prime Minister of India. He travelled almost nine months across the country to root out the Congress regime with the hope that when the BJP would come to power, he would have a say in matters of governance. But, since the new regime has taken over the reins, most of the ministers do not even say a ‘namaskar’ to the maverick baba. His request for a meeting with Modi also did not fructify; he was advised to wait. The baba became restless so he requested one of his journalist friends, with a national TV channel, to seek an appointment with Modi. On the recommendation of the journalist, Modi agreed to meet the desperate baba on condition that the journalist would accompany the controversial yoga guru. The meeting took place at the scheduled time along with the senior editor. Modi paid due respects to the baba and said goodbye without promising anything. Poor baba!
