WHEN news flows every second, from television to approximately 300 social networking sites and thousands of newspapers, it is very difficult to track and comment on the news for the Prime Minister’s Office every day. The Prime Minister’s Office has to have a different mechanism through various sources and agencies to monitor the news. Sources disclose that Narendra Modi has a new mechanism to keep a tab on the news, and it is outsourced. Surprisingly, Google, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter have deputed one person in their respective offices to track the news on India and Modi. All news is compiled and a 300-page news dossier is submitted to Modi early the next morning. Modi reads and issues instructions according to the need of the hour.
